Travel Update for 09/01 Carson(LAX) to Chicago(ORD)

We fueled at about 1245-100 edt in Barstow at the flying J Truck Stop. Left there at about 1:10 and we are now headed north on I-15. We will stay on I-15 through Las Vegas, NV and Into UT to I-70 east. From there we will head towards Denver, Co. We should be in Denver around 8:00 am EDT in the morning on Wednesday and that will just be a pass through(no stop) unless other arrangements are made prior to our arrival there. We will access I-76 in Denver and head North East on I-76 towards North Platte Ne. This is where our next planned stop is for fuel. We probably won't be there more than about 15 minutes or so unless other arrangements are made prior to our arrival. From there it is off to Chicago. No other planned stops. 1st Outing in the Truck since the Wrap Was Done

Well,it certainly wasn't much but I took off early this morning and went to Tampa to have new tires put on and a 3 axle alignment on the truck. I took off, expecting some interest, but I had no idea what would ensue.

I had to pull off the highway twice on the way down, rush hour traffic, people just wanted to see it, read it and discuss the wrap, the 912 project, and what is happening to America. When I got to Tampa, the response was overwhelming, both at the tire shop and the alignment shop 10 miles away.

I handed out about 30 or so constitutions, more than any single day since I started handing them out in January, and about the same amount of 9-12 brochures and 912taxpayer revolt flyers. I had a blast talking about and explaining our plight.

The next few months should certainly prove interesting, if not challenging. I am so looking forward to the dialogue this project is going to ignite. We will be leaving the evening of the 18th...Saturday night, and won't be back here until after the 912 taxpayer revolt in D.C. on the 12th of September, 2009.

The Finished Product, The Truck is Done

Well, the long awaited, much anticipated, and highly promoted, 912 Project Truck is done. The folks at Today's Graphics INC have gone over and above what was expected in design, dedication and application of this project. Words, nor could pictures ever describe how I appreciate their quality in workmanship and generous devotion of their time.

While Glenn Beck does not have anything to do with this project personally, his website, and radio and television talk shows are certainly the inspiration behind the design.

I believe, like Glenn, that we all have a place in life, we are all here for a purpose. While we may not always know where we are being led, where God is telling us to go, as long as we go where He guides us, all will work out. The road may be rough, trials will be many but if we will Keep Our Chin Up, Eyes Forward, and Pray Fervently, God will certainly help us through the trials and tribulations we may suffer. My belief is that Glenn is here to encourage all of us and that I am here to do what I am doing...Trying to wake up America. You too, have a purpose, a calling if you will. The fact is, that if you are here, or on www.the912project.com, or listening to Glenn on his radio and television shows, I think it is for a reason. This country was founded on Christian Values and it will be saved in the same manner in which it was founded, and by the same type of folks, regular, everyday, run of the mill, average RED BLOODED AMERICANS!!!

All that being said, I have for several weeks been promising pictures of my truck after the "wrap" was done. Wait no longer. The pictures are here, the truck is done, and we will be back on the road on the evening of the 18th of July. I will, as promised, be updating this site almost daily, sometimes more often, other times less often, so that you will know where I am and if I am going to be in your city soon. I hope that you will all come see the truck if we get to your city. The company we work for has terminals in all major U.S. cities, mostly around the airport any given city.

For now, please enjoy the pictures until you can get to see the truck. Remember, pictures just do not do this wrap justice.

Truck to be Wrapped This Week

My wife and I are at our home this week for some much deserved time off. Well, kinda time of. Actually, I will be working on maintaining the truck for much of the next 14 days and my wife is working in the house, so actually, though we aren't working at our "regular" job, we are actually working.

Besides me working on the truck, I will have the truck at the vinyl printer/installer for our "912 project" theme wrap. I believe you will all be very pleased with the finished product and that you will be proud to be a part of the project. The contractor wants the truck for five full days since it is such a big project and one that demands the utmost attention to detail. After the truck is done on Sunday, there will be a photographer here on Monday to get some professional quality pictures to send out to everyone involved in the project and to post here on this site.

Be sure and check back here often to see the finished product and to see where we are traveling at any given time so that you can come and see the truck when we are in your area. Also, please be sure and sign up to attend the 912dc.org taxpayer protest in Washington D.C.. We will have the truck in the area that week and we hope to see you all there.

A Leap of Faith

Just a note to let you all know that we, my wife and I, have decided, on a leap of faith, to move forward on this project. We have decided that someone MUST do SOMETHING and that that someone is going to be us. We will be selling shirts and bumper stickers with images of the truck on them to help defray the costs of the wrap and any shows we may enter. We will also still be accepting contributions, however we have come to the realization that everyone has a project to do, they all cost money, and if they support our project then they will have fewer funds to support their own.

The 912 site has been a great site to air thoughts, ideas, fears, and even differences but from my point of view it has become a venting solution for our disgust of our government and our marginalization by the same.

I feel a calling to do this and with only two obstacles, money and fear, We have decided to take the money out of the equation and meet fear head on...with a vengeance. We are taking the 8th to the 17th of July off work at our very humble abode in Florida to have the wrap done, take care of some deferred maintenance, on the truck AND ourselves, and we will be back on the road on or about the 18th of July.

We have decided to call the truck "America's Alarm Clock" or just "Alarm Clock", whichever we can find a way to work into the design features of the wrap. I will, after finished post a picture of the truck at both of my blogspot blogs for all to see. I will also, on one of the blogs be trying to post daily updates of our travels and where will will be at a given time just in case anyone who reads it may want to see the truck.

We hope to spark conversation, debate, interest, and participation in the 912 project, tea parties, and the salvation of our great nation. We also hope that if you all see us on the road you will give a hearty wave and wish us your best. I have no delusions of grandeur, America is asleep and it is going to be very hard for us to wake them up. Talk radio, television, newspapers, etc. haven't been able to do it so I see it quite doubtful that one truck traveling the country with two nut job, radical, hate mongers at the wheel will be able to do it any time soon.

I hope in the future I can announce another project that we have in mind to gain support for "the912project.com" revolutionary movement. I believe in America so greatly that nothing is too far fetched, anything can happen and we will win our country back. Thanks for indulging and God Bless you all.
